Summertime DIY for Hair care

  
 It’s a smile. It’s a kiss. It’s a sip of wine. It’s SUMMERTIME!

Summertime means leaving our houses, going on a beach for a healthy tan or for a swim. We all love playing with water when it’s summers. We all know what harmful effects sun can cause to our skin and we do all possible care, follow different skin care routines religiously. But we tend to forget one thing, i.e., our hair. Just like our skin, our hair also needs equal attention. You may have Strong, bouncy hair all year round, but summer brings a lot of hair issues along with it. You may notice, that the bounce you had all year long is no more. Your hair looks lifeless. This happens because of the high temperature in the surrounding that settles on your hair and weighs it down which results in limp hair. A little preventive care is all your hair needs to come back to life. While you have your hands on to all possible products that can-do marvels, there are few things that you should keep in mind.
1.      Scalp type
2.      Hair type
3.      Identify the best carrier oil according to your hair type



Every ingredient or product you use has a specific ability that can show maximum results when applied to the correct hair or scalp type.
1.Normal hair:
Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil & Olive Oil
2. D, Damaged or Frizzy hair:
Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil & Sesame Oil
3.Oily Hair:
Grapeseed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Lavender Oil
4.Thin hair and Dandruff

Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Olive Oil



Some DIY hair conditioner that can work best in summers.
 1.      Essential Oil condition for dry hair:
Jojoba oil-5 ounces
Almond Oil- 5 Ounces
Glycerin – 1 ounce.
Rosemary Essential oil 15 drops.

  Pour all the ingredients into a spray bottle, and stir. Don’t worry if they’re not fully incorporated, each one of the ingredients has a different consistency. Thus, even though most are oils, they won’t fully incorporate into the solution. Add water until the spray bottle is almost full and give the DIY leave in conditioner another good shake. Here it is, your own leave-in conditioner carrying amazing properties for your hair. Just remember to shake it before each use.
2.      Essential Oil condition for Oily Hair:
o    ¼ cup of aloe vera gel
o    2 tsp of apple cider vinegar
o    2 tsp of coconut oil
o    ¼ cup of distilled water
o    10 drops of lavender oil
o    Funnel
o    Flip top bottle or old conditioner bottle. 

In a glass bowl, combine only the aloe vera gel and essential oils. Mix for about 5 minutes to create an emulsion. Now add in the coconut oil and mix again. Next, add the apple cider vinegar and distilled water and stir to create a smooth mixture. Using your funnel, pour your now-ready conditioner into a dispensing bottle for easy application.

3.      Conditioner for sun- damaged, bleached hair:
1 tsp Jojoba oil, Sesame Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, carrot seed essential oil each
1 tsp lemon juice.
Heat up and blend all ingredients. Let it cool a bit. Once all ingredients have blended, While the oil is still warm apply to scalp and massage well. Cover your hair with a plastic bag. Leave covered for at least 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
