Well, Dandruff is one of the nastiest and most irritating problems one could face. Not only is it itchy and annoying but also the flakes are visible and can be a big embarrassment.
But the good thing is that being dandruff free is not that difficult. By taking proper care, maintaining hygiene and using the suitable natural oils you can keep yourself dandruff free.

We gotta tackle the “dandruff” problem on SOS basis!

What is the Cause of Dandruff?
First we must know why dandruff happens, in the first place, to tackle the dandruff problem.
Dandruff happens mainly due to a dry scalp. The dead skin on our scalp tends to form flakes which cause dandruff.

Dandruff Keeps Coming Back?
Pervez tells me this problem started recently, since he stopped using natural products. He's been travelling for work a lot and been using a lot of hotel shampoos.
Most commercial anti-dandruff shampoos and other such products are a temporary solution. They are effective in removing the flakes but do not address the root cause. The scalp remains dry and flakes tend to form all over again.
Also chemical based products tend to harm your hair in the long run. They cause hair fall and shine of the hair tends to reduce.

Natural Solution?
Essential Oils are one of the easiest and most effective ways to keep you dandruff free.
Tea tree and Aloe Vera are the essential oils you should go for.

Tea Tree Oil
If you examine the label of your anti-dandruff shampoo, then you will most likely discover tea tree oil as one of its natural ingredients. This is because tea tree oil contains antiseptic and anti-fungal properties that effectively fights bacteria or other causes of irritation on your scalp.
You can mix tea tree essential oil with a carrier oil like Olive, Argan or Avocado and massage your head regularly. Or you can even try adding a few drops of tea tree oil into your shampoo before use.

Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera is recommended as one of many gels known to effectively treat dandruff. It helps moisturise the scalp and treats the root cause of dandruff.

Other Essential Oils
Oils like Patchouli and Peppermint Oil are also very effective against dandruff.

These days, in India, buying these essential oils are simple. They are easily available on the soulflower ecommerce website www.soulflower.biz at very reasonable costs too.

So say bye bye to dandruff now!
